TickTock Forest School

At TickTock we have a fully qualified Forest School teacher as we believe that young children's interaction with nature and the natural world is a huge factor in their development.

As well as exploring many activities in our garden we also spend a lot of time in the wooded areas to amerce ourselves in nature.

All children us natural materials for;

  • Stick Play

  • Den Building 

  • Building fires 

  • Climbing trees

Through nature based learning children develop skills to handle tools for woodwork and cooking as well as essential development of:

  • Self awareness 

  • Motivation + problem solving

  • Independence + communication

  • Physical skills

  • Knowledge + understanding of the world around them.
